Goodwill of Southern Nevada launches HomeDrop trailer service for donations
Trailers delivered to driveways in parts of Northwest Valley, Summerlin
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Goodwill of Southern Nevada hopes a new “HomeDrop” trailer service will make donating easier.
This month, Goodwill began offering delivery of a 7-by-16-foot trailer to donors’ driveways in parts of the Northwest Valley and Summerlin.
How HomeDrop works
Donors then have 48 hours to load gently used furniture, appliances, clothing, and other household items at their own pace.
Once the pickup window ends, Goodwill returns to haul the trailer away and provide a donation receipt.

Who the program is for
The program is aimed at people cleaning out garages or storage units, downsizing, moving, or trying to donate several bulky items at once.
Goodwill says the service gives unwanted items a second life while supporting job training and employment programs for Southern Nevadans.
