LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A former officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has been sentenced after being arrested for domestic violence earlier this year.

Jeremiah Jordan was arrested on June 19 on five counts on domestic violence. The arrest followed two separate incidents spanning from August 2025 through June 2026.

On Tuesday, Jordan pleaded guilty to two counts of coercion constituting domestic violence with physical force or the immediate threat of physical force. A judge would go on to sentence him to 14 to 48 months on each count, running concurrently.

The judge suspended Jordan’s prison term, placing him on probation for up to 60 months and granting him credit for 37 days served.

Probation terms include:

  • Undergo continuous mental health counseling and follow all physician-prescribed medical and case plans.
  • Maintain complete sobriety from alcohol, cannabis, and synthetic substances, backed by random drug screenings.
  • Maintain full-time lawful employment and comply with any directives from family court.

Jordan had been with the department since 2023 and was assigned to the Community Safety Division, Enterprise Area Command, LVMPD said during his June arrest.

One of the victims attended the hearing and detailed the events leading up to August 2, 2025 when police responded to the residence.
