“Around Halloween weekend, we often see more people out celebrating, which can lead to an increase in impaired drivers on the road,” Zero Fatalities Program Manager Anita Pepper said in a statement. “If you plan to drink, make a plan to get home safely before you head out. Every safe ride helps protect lives and moves us closer to our goal of zero fatalities on Nevada’s roads.”
State officials encourage both residents and visitors planning to celebrate over the holiday weekend to arrange safe transportation in advance.
