Las Vegas tourism launches multi-platform college football campaign
LVCVA partners with Barstool Sports, On3, Amp Sports, and Yahoo Sports for season-long push.
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas isn’t just hosting the College Football Playoff National Championship. It’s trying to own the entire season.
LVCVA marketing leaders say they’re embedding Las Vegas into college football culture from week one through title night in January. The goal is to make it clear football hits differently in Las Vegas, and there’s no better place to watch your team play.
They’ve lined up partners including Barstool Sports, On3, Amp Sports and Yahoo Sports, putting Las Vegas inside popular podcasts, tailgate tours and social content all season long. Barstool’s road shows are using a “Road to Vegas” theme, while Yahoo is giving Las Vegas 100% share of voice in its new College Football Playoff Pick’em game.

The LVCVA says fan content from Strip sportsbooks and viewing parties will roll out all fall, leading up to the title game at Allegiant Stadium.
“We are putting the destination at the center of the college football culture. Our goal is to reinforce that football hits differently in Las Vegas, and there is no better place to experience the season unfold than here, watching your favorite team play,” said Kate Wick, chief marketing officer for the LVCVA.
The LVCVA says that the college football push is designed to keep Las Vegas in front of fans on every platform, from traditional TV to the personalities and podcasts younger fans follow all year.
Las Vegas will host the 2027 College Football Playoff national championship at Allegiant Stadium on Monday, January 25, 2027.
