Early season heat wave building for Las Vegas
Forecast Outlook - 03/13/26
Good morning!
An early-season heat wave is building across Southern Nevada and will stick around for the next 7–10 days. Highs climb into the mid-80s this afternoon with a mix of sunshine and a few passing clouds.
By Friday, temperatures rise into the upper-80s under mostly sunny skies. Morning clouds will clear, so if you’re heading to the St. Patrick’s Day parade on Water Street, plan to dress cool because it will feel warm outside.

Saturday looks to be the warmest day of the weekend.
By Sunday, cloud cover increases and winds shift out of the northwest, bringing slightly cooler air. Even so, temperatures will still reach the low-80s.
The bigger surge of heat arrives early next week. By Tuesday, highs jump into the low to mid-90s, bringing near-record March heat to Southern Nevada. Temperatures could approach the triple-digit mark by late next week, which would be unusual for this time of year.
