Official Lake Mead water levels dropped to 1,049 feet Friday. The Southern Nevada Water Authority recently released photos that showed, for the first time, intake pipes visible above the lake’s surface.
Boulder City officials confirm to FOX5 that law enforcement saw our story and it prompted a speeding enforcement measure on Sunset. Boulder City Police clocked one driver going 87 miles-per-hour on the long stretch of road next to runways. The police department posted a photo of the speed on its Facebook page. Officials said the driver was cited.

The dispute continues in the south valley neighborhood near Las Vegas boulevard and Windmill over the bumper sticker. The HOA said it is a nuisance to the neighborhood and that he must remove it.
COVID-19 emergency declarations for Nevada ended Friday as the public health agency for metro Las Vegas noted that the pandemic isn’t over and said it will continue to monitor spread of the virus and provide assistance with vaccinating and testing.
