NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -- The Clark County coroner identified a woman who was struck and killed in North Las Vegas Saturday night.

Breeona Olsteien, 24, died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the coroner. Her death was ruled as an accident. North Las Vegas police were called to Civic Center Drive at North Las Vegas Boulevard just after 6 p.m.

Officers found Olsteien pinned under a Regional Transportation Commission bus, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.

Olsteien appeared to have been in the marked crosswalk and was making her way across Civic Center in a motorized wheelchair. The RTC bus was headed north on Las Vegas Boulevard and the two parties crashed into each other.

North Las Vegas police said impairment was not considered a factor, but were looking into who the at-fault party was in the collision.

RTC released a statement in regards to the fatal crash:

"We extend our sincere condolences to the victim’s family and those who were affected by the traffic fatality that occurred on Las Vegas Boulevard and Civic Center. Safety remains our utmost priority. We, along with our contractor MV Transportation, are cooperating with the North Las Vegas Police Department, as this is an active investigation. If you have any questions, please contact the North Las Vegas Police Department."

This was North Las Vegas police's second fatal crash of 2019.
