(Meredith) -- Colombia experienced another day of violent protests against the government.

According to the Bogota government secretariat, the incidents occurred in various sectors of the city.

Riot police had to intervene to disperse protesters who attacked the police with stones, sticks, and blunt objects.

Authorities also reported the burning of buses, attacks on policemen with Molotov cocktails and the burning of an agent's motorcycle.
