A section of Dean Martin Drive has been renamed in honor of Al Davis, the former owner of the Oakland Raiders, according to Clark County officials.

County officials said the process had been underway since the realignment of Aldebaran Avenue, near West Spring Mountain Road. The realignment features a 90 degree turn, thus the east-west section of the street needed a different name.

The final mapping process for Al Davis Way was finished at the end of March and runs parallel to Hacienda Avenue, county officials said.
