NLVPD accepts Metro's challenge with an even 'sweeter' lip sync

Who doesn't love a lip sync battle especially with the men and women protecting American cities? Law enforcement agencies across the country are taking part in viral battles.

North Las Vegas Police Department accepted a challenge from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. NLVPD's video features one of their boys in blue giving an ode to a "beautiful" treat: donuts. The officer sings along to Oh yeah by Yello while in search of more donuts.

On Wednesday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department posted a video featuring officers was posted on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Recruiting Facebook page Wednesday. As of Thursday morning, it racked up 350,000 views and more than 12,000 shares.

The officers danced and lip-synced to a song that could "set my soul on fire," Viva Las Vegas by Elvis Presley, with the Strip as a backdrop.

By the way, the department used the viral video as a reminder that the department in the "bright light city" is hiring.

After posting the video online, the NLVPD challenged Nevada Highway Patrol and Henderson police to a lip-sync battle. We're waiting patiently for their creative responses.
