GUTHRIE, Okla. (Meredith) -- Two people were arrested in Oklahoma after police discovered the two had a rattlesnake, radioactive uranium and an open bottle of Kentucky Deluxe, KFOR reported.

Police made the traffic stop around 11 a.m. Thursday in a Guthrie, Oklahoma neighborhood. Police pulled over Stephen Jennings and Rachael Rivera because the vehicle’s tags were expired, according to the news station.

Jennings was in the driver’s seat and Rivera was in the passenger seat. However, police discovered a third passenger, a pet Timber rattlesnake in a terrarium, in the backseat.

Police also discovered the Ford the two were driving was stolen at about the same time Jennings informed the officers he had a gun in the console.

Police also found an open bottle of Kentucky Deluxe next to the gun. On top of that, a search of the vehicle revealed a canister of radioactive powered uranium.

Jennings has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, transporting an open container of liquor, driving a vehicle with a suspended license and failure to carry security verification form.

Rivera has been charged with possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction.

The uranium hasn’t resulted in any charges, and Guthrie police are still investigating to find out what the suspects planned to use it for.

No charges have been issued for the rattlesnake either.
