FIRST ALERT: Best thunderstorm chances in Las Vegas through Tuesday

First Alert Weather Days will continue through Tuesday as showers and thunderstorms persist in Southern Nevada.

Monsoon moisture continues to push in from the south, bringing us the best rain and thunderstorm chances on Tuesday. Heavy downpours, lightning, and gusty wind are possible around any thunderstorms that develop. Forecast high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 80s.

Drier air works back in on Wednesday, bringing our rain chances down for the rest of the week. Slight shower and thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast Wednesday through Friday. The best chance will be over our local mountains.
