Woman dead, man injured in Henderson shooting

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A woman is dead and a suspect is in critical condition following a shooting in Henderson Wednesday morning.
Around 9:59 a.m., Henderson Police arrived in the 1200 block of Imperia Drive, near Eastern and Grand Hills Drive, in response to the shooting. Officers located the body of a woman and a man with a handgun.
Officers attempted to communicate with the armed man for “approximately 40 minutes,” according to police. The armed man then shot himself and was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
