NAMPA, Idaho (Gray News) - Idaho State Police canceled a three-state Amber Alert on Saturday that had been issued two days earlier for a 2-year-old boy, but the search continues for the man believed to have kidnapped him.

Idaho police said they believed the child, named Rudy Oziah Reyes, was in danger. Police said he was taken from a yard in Nampa, Idaho, on Thursday. The Amber Alert had been extended to Washington and Oregon.

Police reported Saturday the child was located and is safe, but the alleged kidnapper, 36-year-old Rodolfo Reyes, the boy’s non-custodial father, is still missing and is wanted on several charges.

Rodolfo Reyes was last seen Saturday morning in a silver passenger car, which may be the 2008 Lexus IS with Idaho license plate 2CTJ790 that was previously listed in the Amber Alert.

He was last seen wearing a white tank top and jeans and is known to carry a pistol.
