Police: Woman killed in central Las Vegas Valley, suspect outstanding

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a homicide near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Washington Avenue in central Las Vegas.

According to homicide Lt. Jason Johansson, a woman was found with stab wounds at a home in the 800 block of Reed Place.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Johansson said the woman’s family came home and found her. That’s when they called 911.

Johansson added that the victim’s child, who is under a year old, was found safe inside the home.

At this time, nobody has been arrested in connection with the woman’s death.
