LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Nevada State Police said they are investigating a fatal crash involving a rolled over semi truck Friday afternoon.

NSP said the crash happened on State Route 160 near Mile Marker 13 around 10:28 a.m.

According to NSP, a white Western Star Tractor Trailer was traveling eastbound on SR160 at a speed too fast for the conditions as it approached a curve.

While turning, the tractor trailer overturned onto its right side. The semi was occupied by two men, NSP said.

The driver, identified as Armando Lazaro Jr. Fonte, was arrested on suspicion of impairment and booked into Clark County Detention Center by Nevada State Police.

The passenger was identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Raul Chagollan, 33, from Las Vegas. The crash marks NSP Southern Command’s 22nd fatal crash for 2022, resulting in 27 fatalities.
