ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A Denver Broncos player is walking free after all charges against him were dropped Tuesday morning.
Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested earlier this month on allegations of criminal tampering:
Sister station CBS Denver reports the arrest stem from a fight between 23-year-old Jeudy and his girlfriend, culminating with him allegedly locking hers and their baby daughter’s belongings in his car so she couldn’t go back to Virginia.
The 18th District Attorney’s Office confirmed with 11 News earlier Tuesday that a motion had been filed to dismiss all charges.
The girlfriend was the one who asked for the case to be dismissed, according to CBS Denver, which reports she told the judge she never felt threatened during the incident.
A mandatory protection order has also been vacated.
