LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Update: The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in this shooting as 18-year-old Markies Miguel. A preliminary investigation has revealed shortly after 8 a.m. metro police and paramedics responded to a call of a male shot in 3900 block of Las Vegas Blvd North.

An 18-year-old male was found shot inside of a trailer and pronounced deceased on the scene, according to police.

Police said victim had been in a verbal argument with his brother. The argument escalated and victim was shot.

The victim’s brother was identified as 27-year-old Miguel Michael.

Michael was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for open murder.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once next of kin has been notified.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is investigating a shooting near Las Vegas Blvd. and Lamb Blvd. Friday morning.

This is on Las Vegas Blvd. between Lamb and Nellis.
