Nevada Lieutenant Governor announces launch of Office of Small Business Advocacy web page

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Nevada Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead announced the launch of the web page for the newly created Office of Small Business Advocacy, which can be found through the Lieutenant Governor’s website.
The Office of Small Business Advocacy was created by Assembly Bill 184 and signed into law by Gov. Steve Sisolak on May 31, 2021, and it’s designed as a one-stop shop for small businesses to take advantage of resources available in state government, and reports to the Lieutenant Governor.
“I’m thrilled that the web page for the Office of Small Business Advocacy is up and running and ready to help Nevada’s entrepreneurs,” Lt. Gov. Cano Burkhead said. “This will allow small business owners to focus more time on growing their business and creating jobs for their community. Business owners can simply come to our site, fill out a quick form and be connected to a person ready to help.”
Last month, Sonny Vinuya was hired to serve as the director of the office. Vinuya comes to the Office from the Asian Chamber of Commerce, where he served as president.
