The heat wave is still on track for the end of the week with highs at 110 degrees for today with 109° Thursday & 110° Friday.  We'll see a few clouds tomorrow & again on Thursday, but the main bit of clouds & moisture doesn't arrive until late Sunday through Tuesday. Highs will decrease a bit & there will be slight chances of showers in the mountains that could spread over portions of the Las Vegas Valley. The threat in the mountains for Sunday through Tuesday will be lightning strikes & potential flooding/runoff with any strong showers/thunderstorms.
