A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for Southern Nevada through midnight tonight. Thunderstorms are bringing heavy downpours that can lead to localized flash flooding. We've seen some isolated thunderstorms around the Las Vegas Valley this afternoon. The strongest storms have been west and south of the valley, helping to bring in some cooler outflow winds into the area. This has kept temperatures in the 90s this afternoon before overnight lows fall back into the 80s Friday morning. Most of the showers and storms will be focused outside the Las Vegas Valley through the evening. Friday's forecast high climbs to 101 degrees with some isolated thunderstorms popping up in the afternoon. Most of the activity will be focused over the mountains. Drier air working in for the weekend brings us more sunshine with high temperatures at 106 Saturday and 108 on Sunday. We'll keep an eye on increasing monsoon moisture for the middle part of next week, bringing the chance of some more showers and storms.
