LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Raiders signed free agent Quincy Mauger, the team announced Thursday.

He originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons in 2017 and spent his rookie season on the reserve/injured list with a knee injury.

Mauger is a native of Marietta and played four years with the University of Georgia Bulldogs where he appeared in 50 games, recording 186 tackles, 0.5 sacks, seven interceptions, 12 passes defensed and one forced fumble.

The Raiders also announced they waived Drew Scott, who signed with the club after participating in the team's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.
