North Las Vegas police searching for man connected to 2 burglaries

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

North Las Vegas detectives need your help identifying a burglary suspect involved in at least two incidents. 

Police said on July 22 at about 4 p.m., officers responded to burglaries at two homes in the 4300 block of Matinee Avenue, near Valley Drive and Washburn Road. 

In both incidents, the suspect entered the home through the back door, physically damaging the door to enter the home. The suspect took small electronics and jewelry during both burglaries. 

Police released video surveillance of the suspect during one incident.

The suspect was described by police as a black man, in his 20's, standing about 5'10" o 6'0" tall, weighing about 180 pounds to 200 pounds with three- to four-inch-long braids. He was last seen wearing a neon yellow construction vest over a white shirt and dark pants pulling a purple suitcase.
