Serious crash sends 4 to Las Vegas hospital

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police are investigating a serious crash in west Las Vegas where multiple people were injured. 

Officers were called to the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Pennwood Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday with reports of a vehicle accident.

 A 4-door Mercury vehicle collided with a 2-door Honda at the intersection, according to police.

The driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and three occupants of the Mercury were also sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Lane restrictions were in place at the intersection while Metro investigated the crash scene.

Authorities did not release any further immediate details about the collision.
