LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The 2014-15 school year: Police arrested 10 Clark County School District staffers on sex-related charges. The 2015-16 school year: 10 more arrested. This school year: 11 more.

Thirty-one staffers were arrested in the past three years.

We've heard from some of those victims, from their parents, from teachers. We hear you, and we took your concerns to the school district.

CCSD released this statement following our report Monday:

While we disagree with Fox 5's decisions to include inaccuracies and omit key information we provided for their story regarding inappropriate relationships between employees and students, we can agree that the priority of the district and our community as a whole should be ensuring student safety at all times. One instance of a child being taken advantage of by an adult is too many.

That's why in April we created an internal working group to discuss inappropriate student/teacher relationships and to create a policy outlining appropriate uses of electronic communication between staff members and students. We are also looking forward to inviting the community to a town hall in June to get their input on proposed new policies. We are working to have the new policies in place by the beginning of the school year, and we will update all employee trainings to ensure our employees are aware of new and existing policies.

We take our responsibilities to protect student safety very seriously, and we ask the community to help us by reporting any potential misconduct and support us while we work continuously to combat child predators.

You can weigh in on Clark County School District's handling of these arrests or provide feedback on the report on our Facebook page.
