LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police are searching for an armed and dangerous man in connection with a critical shooting earlier this month.

Las Vegas Metro police said officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 4900 block of Stanley Avenue to investigate reports of a man shot on Nov. 10 at about 3:45 a.m.

Once at the scene police located a man who was shot multiple times and medical personnel transported him to the University Medical Center in critical condition.

Investigators said there was an altercation at that location involving two men and a woman. The victim was approaching from another direction when shots were heard and the victim then seen lying on the ground.

The suspect in this incident has been identified as 33-year-old Max Cook, of Las Vegas, according to Metro, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Detectives said Cook is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with any information about this incident, or the whereabouts of Max Cook, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
