Pedestrian in Halloween crash on Lamb Boulevard dies

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

An 85-year-old pedestrian who was hospitalized after a crash on Halloween succumbed to his injuries.

Las Vegas Metro police said the Clark County Coroner's Office informed them Tuesday of Herschell Radford's death while in treatment at Sunrise Hospital Trauma. His date of death was marked on Nov. 7.

According to police, Radford was the pedestrian involved in an Oct. 31 crash in the 2800 block of South Lamb Boulevard. Radford was crossing the roadway on foot when he was truck by a Toyota 4Runner that was making a left turn onto Lamb.

Police said Radford was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash. He was sent to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 75-year-old driver of the Toyota did not show any signs of impairment, police said.
