Man struck by bus in North Las Vegas

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

North Las Vegas police said they are investigating after a man was struck by a bus Monday evening. 

The incident occurred about 6:50 p.m. near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Alexander Road. 

According to Officer Ann Cavaricci, of North Las Vegas police, the man was not in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a CAT bus. 

The man was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition, Cavaricci said. 

The driver of the bus remained at the scene, Cavaricci said. 

Southbound Martin Luther King Boulevard will be closed for the investigation, Cavaricci said.
