LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police identified a suspect in a rash of robberies that happened earlier this month in the southeast Las Vegas Valley.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Lamar Griffin is the suspect in at least six armed holdups that took place between Nov. 8 and Nov. 12.

Police originally said the person committed the robberies with a possible getaway driver.

Griffin is described as black, 6'1" and about 140 pounds. Police are considering him armed and dangerous.

Police did not have a description on the possible getaway driver. They believe a large tan GM sport-utility vehicle was used in the incidents.

Police urged anyone with information on the case to contact Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
