LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police said three people were injured after a van crashed into a Burlington Coat Factory Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. at the store near Eastern Avenue and Tropicana Avenue.

Police said a 61-year-old woman was attempting to park her van when she accelerated and crashed into the store. An employee was rescued after she became trapped between the wall and cash register area.

The employee and two other people were transported to Sunrise Trauma with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The driver of the vehicle was not transported to the hospital.

It does not appear the driver was under the influence of any substance, police said. No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.

The fire department said there was no structural damage to the building.

Police said the parking lot area was shut down during the investigation.
