Second suspect in connection to drug-related homicide arrested

Las Vegas Metro police confirmed the second suspect wanted in connection to a drug-related homicide on Nov. 5 has been captured. 

Police said 25-year-old Jorge Latorre was arrested Thursday near the area of Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard. 

Police believe Latorre and Cody Sullivan were involved in a homicide in the the 6300 block of Sandpiper Way, near Twain Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive. The victim, Thomas Frank Jones IV, was shot and killed during the incident.

According to the Clark County Detention Center, Latorre faces several charges including open murder, burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon, robbery with use of a deadly weapon and possession of burglary tools. 

The arrest report for Latorre stated Sullivan and Latorre were previously arrested on drug-related charges in December 2015.

Latorre is due in court on Monday.
