HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Power was restored for nearly 1,800 customers in Henderson on Thursday night after an outage.

NV Energy's outage website showed 1,794 customers without power in the area of Burkholder and Pueblo boulevards, which is on the east side of Boulder Highway in Henderson.

The bulk of the outage - 1,703 customers - was reported in the 89015 zip code, the utility said.

The outage began at 9:53 p.m. due to equipment failure, the website stated. Estimated time for restoration was slated for 12:45 a.m., but a check of the website showed restoration in that area as of 11:30 p.m.
