LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two men were arrested Wednesday, both believed to be behind a rash of robberies targeting people in parking areas in the west Las Vegas Valley.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Daveon Hayes and Dashawn Daniels were taken into custody in the 2400 block of West Sahara Avenue on Tuesday. The two were reportedly caught moments after committing a robbery in the area.

Police also believe the two were linked to a holdup in the area of West Flamingo Road and South Decatur Boulevard earlier that night.

Detectives determined the two men were connected to at least six robberies that took place in October and November, according to police.

In the incidents, police described two or three men would approach victims on foot and would rob them at gunpoint. The holdups generally took place in business parking lots and parking garages in the west Valley.

Police were still seeking a third person in the case.

Hayes and Daniels were booked into Clark County Detention Center on six counts each of robbery with a deadly weapon and six counts each of conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon. Hayes was additionally booked on a count of burglary and a count of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Police are urging anyone with information on the case to contact Metro's Spring Valley Area Command Patrol, Investigations Section at 702-828-2369 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
