Metro: Man arrested in connection to drug-related homicide

Las Vegas Metro police said a man has been arrested in connection to a drug-related homicide.

Police arrested 18-year-old Cody Sullivan Saturday in the 4100 block of South Rainbow Boulevard, near Flamingo Road while officers responded to a call related to larceny. 

Police believe he was involved in a homicide in the 6300 block of Sandpiper Way, near Twain Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive, on Nov. 5

Sullivan and another unidentified suspect were involved in a home invasion that was likely drug-related . A victim, identified as Thomas Frank Jones IV, was shot and killed during the incident. 

Sullivan faces several charges including murder, burglary while in possession of a firearm, robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). 

The second suspect is still on the loose.
