LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police arrested a man suspected of holding up at least three businesses, including two in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, last month.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, tips from the public helped lead investigators to Michael Holt. A person resembling Holt was captured on surveillance camera holding up a convenience store in the area of Flamingo Road and El Capitan Way on Oct. 29.

In the incident, police said he asked for the money in the register and simulated holding a firearm.

In addition, police believe Holt is the same person who held up a sandwich shop and a gas station in the area of Warm Springs Road and Durango Drive on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26, respectively.

Holt was booked into Clark County Detention Center on three counts of robbery, three counts of burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery.
