LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani urged supporters to vote on Election Day.

Giuliani spent a portion of Sunday morning at the Donald Trump campaign headquarters in Las Vegas.

“Get up, get on the telephones, go to the doors (and) get every vote out. We can win Nevada,” Giuliani said to a cheering crowd.

Democrats led republicans in early voting turnout by more than 46,000 voters.

Giuliani was with Trump at a rally in Reno when he was rushed off stage and commended his reaction when some people in the crowd said they heard someone had a gun.

“He said ‘I’m going out’ and he waited until secret service said it was okay,” Giuliani said. “He went out, he made a joke and he just went right on with his speech. That says to me he’s got the temperament, the calmness to be president of the United States.”

No weapon was found and the man detained for questioning was released within an hour and is not facing any charges.

Giuliani also spoke to the crowd on the Supreme Court, gun rights, religious freedom, the economy, Hillary Clinton’s emails, the border, and how terrorism affected him as a mayor of New York City on Sept. 11.
