LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police are investigating an incident on the Las Vegas Strip early Sunday morning.

Police activity was reported in front of The Linq and Caesars Palace hotel-casino just after 5 a.m. with Metro blocking traffic on the boulevard at that intersection.

Authorities said a man was stabbed in an incident at that location, and according to the Nevada Department of Transportation traffic cameras all travel was restricted with crime tape from Harrah's hotel-casino to the Cromwell Las Vegas.

Police said no arrests have been made and the person stabbed was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening slash wounds.

Las Vegas Boulevard reopened around 6 a.m., but Metro said the incident remains under investigation.
