Flamingo shut down at Tenaya after critical injury crash

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Flamingo Road was shut down Thursday in the west Las Vegas Valley after a crash.

Las Vegas Metro police reported the incident at 3:42 p.m. in the area of Flamingo and South Tenaya Way. Police described the incident as a critical injury accident.

At least one person was taken to University Medical Center Trauma in critical condition, police said.

Both east and westbound lanes of Flamingo was shut down. Police urged motorists to avoid the area.
