LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A man wearing a suit and tie, who robbed a bank branch inside an east Las Vegas Valley grocery store on Nov. 1, is suspected of robbing several other businesses.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the man is believed to be responsible for more than eight robberies at various grocery and drug stores.

In the Nov 1. incident, the suspect, dressed in a suit with dark glasses and a black hat, robbed the bank at about noon in the 2800 block of East Desert Inn Road, between Eastern Avenue and McLeod Drive, police said.

He approached a teller with a firearm and demanded money, police said. After the holdup, the man may have escaped the area in a white, older-model, four-door sedan.

Police described the person as a white man, about 25 to 30 years old, 5'10" to 6' in height and with a thin build.

Police urged anyone with information on the case to contact Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3855 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
