LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police said the bus driver and a student were transported after a crash Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 1:51 p.m. near Buffalo Drive and Charleston Boulevard.

According to police, a car was trying to go in the left lane when he was cut off by another car. That car then swerved back into the right lane and hit the school bus.

The driver of the school complained of back pain and was transported to the hospital, police said. A 13-year-old student complained of injuries and was taken to the hospital by his or her parents. Police said none of the injuries were critical.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the bus said aggressive driving on the other driver’s behalf caused him to swerve. The driver did not sustain any injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
