LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Medical examiners identified a North Las Vegas man as the victim in a motorcycle crash Tuesday.

According to the Clark County Coroner’s Office, 59-year-old Larry Long died as the result of the crash.

Nevada Highway Patrol said for an unknown reason a semi-truck struck the back of the motorcycle driven by Long on US 95 south of mile marker 50. Long was ejected from the motorcycle.

Long was transported to Sunrise Hospital but did not survive his injuries, troopers said.

Troopers said dense fog was reported in the area at the time of the crash. Speed did not appear to be a factor.
