LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

If you’re not getting enough political content on TV, your mailbox is probably more than making up for it.

FOX5 staff members collected enough mailers, flyers and pamphlets in just a few days to completely cover a large table.

It likely won’t stop until Election Day has passed.

“I usually look through them, see what is recyclable, and file them where they need to go,” homeowner Preston Miller said.

Nearly everyone FOX5 spoke with Thursday said the mailers either end up in a recycle bin or the trash.

A&R Printing is one of the largest producers of those ads in the state. The staff there has been busy.

“We have enough business to keep our shelves busy. We run eight-hour shifts, two eight-hour shifts a day, but when election season hits we completely ramp up,” A&B general manager Robert Bloecker said.

In fact, A&B Printing has been handling four times its normal volume. Still, like the rest of us, they’re ready for the election cycle to be over.

“Come voting day, we’re all going to take a big sigh and wash our hands and take a vacation, but right now this is what we do, and we’re excited to do it,” Bloecker said.

A&B Printing is currently producing about 250,000 political mailers every day.
