Henderson police looking for woman who robbed bank

HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Henderson police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the woman who robbed a U.S. Bank branch Thursday afternoon.

Police said the woman entered the bank, which is inside the Smith’s grocery store located at 10616 S. Eastern Ave., at West Horizon Ridge Parkway, about 2:10 p.m.

The woman presented a teller with a note demanding cash. She then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money through the grocery store parking lot.

The woman never displayed a weapon and no injuries were reported.

The woman responsible was described as Hispanic, 5’4” tall and about 150 pounds. She was wearing a black athletic jacket with white stripes, black pants and a black and white beanie.

Anyone with information concerning the woman’s identity or whereabouts was urged to call the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4911. Those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
