President Obama to speak at Cheyenne High School in NLV

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

President Barack Obama has a scheduled campaign stump in Southern Nevada for Hillary Clinton and Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto.

According to the Democratic presidential candidate's campaign, the president will make an appearance at Cheyenne High School in North Las Vegas on Sunday. Doors open at 1:45 p.m., with the event set to start at 3:45 p.m.

The rally, which is being hosted by the Nevada Democratic Party, requires attendees to obtain a ticket ahead of the event.

People interested in attending may have picked up a ticket starting last Thursday at the following locations:

  • East Las Vegas Office, 781 N Nellis Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89110
  • North Las Vegas Office, 3925 N Martin Luther King Blvd., Ste 112, Las Vegas, NV 89032
  • South Summerlin Office, 4960 S Fort Apache Rd, Ste 430, Las Vegas, NV 89148
  • Southwest Office, 9340 W Martin Ave., Ste 201, Las Vegas, NV 89148
  • South Henderson Office, 2390 E Serene Ave., Ste 420, Las Vegas, NV 89123
  • Central Las Vegas Office, 6368 W Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89146
  • Centennial Office, 7920 W Tropical Pkwy., Ste 110, Las Vegas, NV 89149 

Each office is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and tickets were available through Saturday.

The president is expected to urge people to take advantage of early voting, which runs from Oct. 22 thru Nov. 4.
