LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The two people inside a motorhome who died in a crash that also involved a dump truck were a man and a woman with German identification, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP disclosed more details in the incident that took place Monday on southbound State Route 160 near Mile Marker 15 in Clark County.

A 47-year-old man was behind the wheel of a dump truck that was traveling above the speed limit when it first hit a Saturn vehicle, NHP said. The impact caused the sedan to go off road.

Troopers said the dump truck continued to travel, hitting a recreation vehicle from behind. The impact caused both vehicles to go off road. NHP said the dump truck struck a concrete conduit, which caused it to flip over on its side.

The two occupants in the RV died at the scene. The dump truck operator and the 50-year-old driver of the Saturn sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The Clark County Coroner's Office was assigned to identify the two deaths in the case.
