LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

While stuck at the red light, a Las Vegas driver used his cellphone to catch an intense and brutal road rage incident. The fight occurred at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Flamingo Road late Monday afternoon.

Robert Martinez, who caught the incident on camera, told FOX5 he was heading home from an appointment when he heard car horns blaring.

In the video, a man and woman both get out of their cars and begin to push, punch, and throw one another on the ground. Police said both were armed, one with a knife and the other with a crowbar.

After about 30 seconds, both stopped, the man got back into his car and the video ended.

FOX5 showed this to local business owners, receiving mixed reactions.

"If I was that person, I would faint, I would get scared," said business owner Prymas Vas.

"Back in the day people would at least stop you. Now they're pulling out their phones and putting it on social media right now. They take out their phones and all they want to do is record and upload it," said Fernando Olvera.

"It could have happened in the parking lot, too. That affects our business," Vas said.

"On a Monday afternoon, I just can't believe it, even after seeing the video. I still can't believe it," Olvera said.

Metro said both individuals involved in the fight have been contacted by police, one at the scene, and the other at a nearby hospital.

Detectives are still investigating and said charges have yet to be filed.
