Gunman robs Henderson ice cream shop

HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Henderson police are searching for the man responsible for robbing an ice cream shop Tuesday afternoon.

Henderson Police Department spokeswoman Michelle French said about 1:45 p.m., a man walked into the Dairy Queen located at 2607 Windmill Pkwy., near North Pecos Road.

The man, who was described as between 40 and 50 years old, ordered an ice cream cone, and when he received his order he retrieved a gun from his waistband.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported in the robbery.
