LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

It may have been a case of a high school rivalry gone too far.

On Friday, massive fights broke out among students following a football game between the Centennial Bulldogs and the Arbor View Aggies.

A police investigation into the brawl is ongoing.

The fight started at a Raising Cane’s restaurant and spilled over to a nearby In-N-Out Burger. Both schools are working with police to identify the students involved.

“It’s a very huge rivalry. None of the schools have respect for each other,” a student told FOX5 Monday.

Students said the rivalry has been heated for years but has never erupted into violence such as this.

“I just find that crazy. My prayers are with them because a couple of them are in the hospital,” a student said.

Cellphone video captured dozens of teens throwing punches and kicking one another. Others just egged the combatants on.

Meanwhile, rumors are swirling about another fight.

“Centennial kids were gonna come after us Arbor kids, so some of us were rushing out of school and trying to go home,” a student said.

School leaders on Monday reminded students the rivalry needs to remain on the field.

“They say that we aren’t allowed to go to other campuses after school. Otherwise, we would be suspended for trespassing,” an Arbor student said.

Centennial’s principal on Monday said more security would be added at the school, despite the fact that the fight took place off campus.

Police ask that anyone with information concerning those who participated in the brawl call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
