HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Henderson police said four suspects are in custody after a pawn shop was robbed Friday afternoon.

According to Henderson Police Department spokeswoman Michelle French, EZPawn, located at 36 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy., was robbed about 3:30 p.m.

French said two men, who were armed with a gun and a sledgehammer, entered the store, smashed glass and stole jewelry. There were no shots fired and no reports of injuries.

The men exited the store and got in separate getaway vehicles, one of which was stolen. There was a getaway driver in both vehicles.

Police pursued the vehicles for a short time, and the four men exited the vehicles in the area of Horizon Ridge Parkway and Horizon Drive. A brief foot pursuit ensued, and police cornered the men on Lemongold Street, in the Eagle Crest neighborhood.

All four men were taken into custody without further issue.

French said no shots were fired during the entire ordeal and the suspects suffered minor injuries during the foot pursuit and subsequent apprehension.
