Robbery victim seen body-slammed near downtown Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police said they are searching for a suspect involved in a violent robbery at a gas station.

It occurred at 6:43 a.m. on Sept. 5 in the 1500 block of west Bonanza Road, near Martin Luther King Boulevard.

According to police, the suspect parked his vehicle on a nearby street, removed his shirt and approached a random person at the gas pump. The suspect grabbed the victim from behind and threw him to the ground. The suspect stole several valuable items from the victim before running back to his vehicle and driving away.

The suspect remains on the loose, police said.

Police said the entire incident was captured on camera.

Police described the suspect as an unknown race man, about 20 years old, 5’8” tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen shirtless with black pants. He was last seen driving a four-door sedan.
